Film screening by international award-winning director Marcelo Bukin. Happiness, Authenticity, & Inspiration

Marcelo is an international award-winning director, filmmaker and creator. His work has been widely recognized for its humanity, visual immersion and emotional truth, earning praise and awards at more than 200 international film festivals. Filmmaking legend Albert Maysles called Bukin’s work “Much more worthwhile than what the mass media produces.”

Marcelo directs films, commercials and branded content. He works with global brands including Sony, P&G, Citibank, Intel, Hellmann’s, Dannon, Olympus and Lipton in addition to partnering with international foundations to create humanitarian projects. Under his keen cinematic style, Bukin explores his fascination for the human condition, giving life to inspiring, entertaining and thought-provoking visual experiences.

Marcelo is the recipient of the IDA Award, Gold Award FIPA France, New York State Council on the Arts Grant, FIDH Award, selection at Docuweeks for Academy Awards Consideration, among many others. He lives in NYC and works globally.

We will screen a collection of Marcelo’s recent film work, shot both in New York and India & we’ll host a dynamic Q&A afterwards.
